AP Calculus AB

In this College Board-approved course, students focus on understanding calculus concepts and have experience with methods and applications. Students study of the big ideas of calculus: modeling change, approximation and limits, and analysis of functions. The course also focuses on the use of definitions and theorems to build arguments and justify conclusions. This course provides a multi-representational approach to calculus with concepts, results, and problems expressed graphically, numerically, analytically, and verbally. Students will explore connections among these representations and regularly use technology to reinforce relationships between functions, confirm written work, experiment, and  assist in interpreting results.
