This course is primarily designed for Freshmen or students transitioning to a college preparatory program. The course aims to provide the students with both the necessary academic skills required for success in high school and beyond as well as insight into their own thinking and learning. The course will explore some fundamental questions that can help students clarify their goals and focus on how they can accomplish these goals. Skills taught include time management, organization, goal setting, and test preparation strategies. The course also aims to improve reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills as well as promoting the importance of note-taking and other study strategies. 

The Smartfox Study Skills is helpful for all level learners to establish effective study habits which will provide a positive learning experience.
